GE in the UK is thrilled to offer a one-week Virtual Work Experience to 50 young people from across the UK from years 10-11 (Scotland S4 - S5).

During the week of 14-18 February 2022, students will build their employability skills through workshops including -

- Writing a great CV and preparing for an interview

- Developing their personal branding and communication techniques

- Preparing and giving a presentation at the end of the week

You will also get to know the aviation, digital, power, renewable energy and healthcare sectors through speed networking sessions with volunteers from all our businesses, talks from our early careers teams and other information sessions.

During a week-long project, you will discover the Lean 5S principles, used across our business You will be challenged to make your morning routine 20% more efficient, so you can spend more time doing the things you enjoy!

You will also have the chance to reflect on your personal development throughout the process, though group mentoring (according to your career interests).

Sessions will run from 9.30am until 13.00pm each day, with a 30-minute break.
