The High Tide Foundation creates opportunities for young people to enhance their career education. The foundation has many years experience in providing `life changing` work experience to young people and the opportunities cover a range of different sectors from Law, Finance, Engineering, Media, Shipping, Automotive and many more.

Have you ever wondered what successful business leaders do? What was their career journey? What inspired them?

During this insight day you will get to meet 3 local employers who will help you turn a business idea into reality

In the morning we will have Dom from Digital Thinkers who will guide us through what we need to consider when starting a business, how can we be successful entrepreneurs?

Matt from NRL will then get us thinking about staff, what job roles do we need, what employment law do we need to consider, what makes a great stand out CV, do we recruit directly or outsource?

Chloe from Wander Films will then guide us through how to brand and market our business, what is our USP and how do we capitalise on this?

Finally we will create a 60 second elevator pitch

During the day you will have the chance to ask the employers about their career journeys - so come armed with questions!
