Calling all aspiring musicians who want to know more about music careers!

The Army is the largest employer of full time musicians in the UK. Our musicians have a diverse and fulfilling career, playing in contemporary ensembles, string orchestras, jazz bands, brass bands, marching bands and more - at many of the UK’s highest profile occasions.

Join Army Music for an insight into the life of professional musicians including:

  • Interviews with musicians
  • Practical session on the psychology of music: controlling nerves for auditions and performance.
  • Mini-masterclass: right practice – how to squeeze the most out of instrument practice time.
You should come prepared to interact with the tasks, quiz our musicians and take part in our virtual mini master classes. If you are interested in a vocation with music performance at its heart, this insight course is for you!We are interested in working with musicians from any background, who have played any style of music or type of instrument (including vocals) - there is no minimum grade requirement nor prior knowledge of the Army.
