Marks & Spencer Virtual Insight Session - Understanding Social Action
At M&S we encourage our colleagues to volunteer for a
cause close to their hearts – in fact we give them a paid day every year to do
so! In our last volunteer week 5000 of our colleagues completed 450 different
projects from transforming community spaces to tackling hunger for children and
Come and join us from 10-11:30am to talk all things social action. During the session you`ll:
- Learn about what social action is
- Work through a case study and create a social action plan for your community
- Find out about the types of skills you can develop through social action
- Hear about the routes into M&S whether that`s getting a part time job in a store, joining a school leaver programme to applying to a graduate programme after university.
The session will be run by Rebecca Keeble from M&S`s Early Careers Team. Her role is to run the school leaver and apprenticeship programmes so will give you hints and tips on applying for roles within M&S.
