1 Week Placement with London based technical production company

This is an opportunity to spend a week with us at Wonder Works, seeing the day to day running of a technical production company.

We are a small company working on technical elements of big live events.

There may be an opportunity to spend time on site in the production period prior to a live event, as well as spending time in the offices with our team learning what we do in the various stages of our work.

You will learn from our CAD Designers seeing the initial design drawings and the productions they will ultimately become.

Before applying please note:

  • Students who have not previously had work experience, do not have access to other opportunities (such as via parents) and qualify for FSM or Pupil Premium are especially encouraged to apply.
  • Be sure to read all the details as applications will be selected based on enthusiasm and open-mindedness for this specific opportunity, organisation and industry.
  • Students will need to be able to be at Wonder Works Office in North (Central) London 1000 - 1800 each day for the entirety of the placement (there may be some flexibility around this)
  • Final deadline for applications is Wednesday, 6th June (though students may be selected before this so please apply ASAP

Don’t be put off if you don’t know much about our industry. Or if you just had to google what CAD is! We are enthusiastic about what we do and are happy to give you an insight in to the world we work in.
