Shape the future of Youth Engagement with Creative and Cultural Education | Camden, London Only

Camden Spark

Available Between

Have you visited museums, galleries and concerts during your time at school? Have you learnt to play a musical instrument or participated in dance or theatre performances? Do you believe it’s important that young people in Camden benefit from these experiences?

Camden Spark is Camden’s Local Cultural Education Partnership (LCEP). Our vision is that all children and young people in Camden will benefit from a powerful cultural education and have equitable access to the fantastic creative assets of Camden and London. We have a small team but a large network of partners, ranging from music venues like the Roundhouse and theatre companies like Donmar Warehouse to dance companies like The Place. Together we create opportunities for young people in Camden to engage with the arts throughout their time in school.

You will work with our network over the course of the week to develop Camden Spark’s youth voice strategy, including devising a new and exciting activity or campaign to engage your age group, which you will then pitch to an expert panel. Our team will help develop your skills in co-design and event or campaign planning, and you will have the opportunity to influence Camden Spark’s future engagement with young people.

On this placement you will:

● Develop your skills in leadership for social justice and change-making in the arts
