At Ofcom we are at the heart of ensuring people in the UK get the best from their broadband, home phone and mobile services, as well as keeping an eye on the universal postal service, TV and Radio. We also look after the airwaves used by wireless devices like cordless phones, walkie talkies and even some car keys and doorbells.

Ofcom helps to ensure people do not get scammed and are protected from bad practices. This is particularly important for vulnerable or older people. Last year Ofcom was named as the regulator for online harms; this will help to make the UK one of the safest places in the world to be online, especially for children. The new online regulation will be a world first, with Ofcom leading the way in this important work. With offices across the UK, Ofcom has recently opened a new digital and technology hub in Manchester.

We are offering a virtual introduction to the work of Ofcom with an opportunity to hear from our Apprentices and Graduates on their experiences and several introductory sessions on subjects such as: Being an Economist at Ofcom, Engineering at Ofcom, Technology at Ofcom and many more.

Few organisations cover as broad a range of subject matters, skills, and career pathways as Ofcom. From economics to engineering, policy to accountancy, business administration to technology.
